Spot XRP ETF Decision Could Arrive By October 18

The SEC recently approved the first XRP futures ETF by ProShares, increasing the likelihood of a spot XRP ETF approval.

However, the SEC has delayed its decision on Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF until June 17, 2025.

According to journalist Eleanor Terrett, who spoke with Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart, these dates are intermediate, and final decisions on many crypto ETPs are expected in Q4. For the XRP spot ETF specifically, Seyffart is eyeing mid-October, around the 18th, as the final decision deadline.

Seyffart noted that the SEC might act sooner, depending on how actively it engages with the applications.
