U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that when import taxes are reduced, the income tax for many people will significantly decrease and may even be completely eliminated.

He continued in a post on the Truth Social platform that he would focus on those with an annual income below $200,000.

The U.S. President said: "Many jobs have been created, as new factories are being built or planned. This will be a golden opportunity for America! The foreign tax agency is in the process of completion."
