NEW YORK, April 23 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's meme token jumped over 60% on Wednesday after a post that promised the 220 best buyers of $TRUMP an exclusive dinner with the president on May 22 sparked a major rally.

Besides the Trump National Golf Club dinner in Washington, D.C., the No. 25 holders would receive "an ultra-exclusive private VIP reception with the President" and a "Special Tour," the announcement stated.

The web post selling the $TRUMP coin is just the latest of a series of cryptocurrency-related ventures pursued by Trump and his clan that have netted them hundreds of millions of dollars in fees alone.

Trump ventures include a new crypto exchange, World Liberty Financial, and a shift to crypto finance by Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT.O), opens new tab, the social media firm in which the president has a $3 billion stake.

Trump has vowed to be America's first "crypto president," and his administration has acted quickly to roll back crypto enforcement and relax the industry's regulatory environment.
