The European Central Bank may further cut interest rates in response to weakened economic activity
According to a report by Jin Shi data, Carsten Brzeski, an economist at the Dutch International Group, stated that the PMI data for April shows that price pressures have further eased, supporting the European Central Bank's decision to cut interest rates last week.
He pointed out that in the context of low price pressures and weakened economic activity, the European Central Bank will further cut interest rates. If the current trade conflicts cannot be resolved, the European Central Bank will once again bear the responsibility of addressing the issues in the Eurozone.
Brzeski warned that Germany's fiscal stimulus plan and Europe's efforts to increase defense spending will take time to significantly boost economic activity.
