METAPLANET ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL 330 #bitcoin PURCHASE AS PART OF TREASURY OPERATIONS
Metaplanet Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3350 / OTCQX: MTPLF), a publicly listed bitcoin treasury company in Japan, has announced the acquisition of an additional 330 $BTC as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Operations. The latest purchase was made at an average price of 12,181,570 yen per $BTC , totaling approximately 4.020 billion yen. With this acquisition, Metaplanet’s total #bitcoin holdings now amount to 4,855 bitcoin, with an overall average purchase price of 12,804,361 yen per bitcoin, representing a cumulative investment of 62.165 billion yen. The company reported a $BTC Yield of 12.1% for the quarter to date from April 1, 2025, to April 21, 2025, following previous yields of 41.7%, 309.8%, and 95.6% in the preceding quarters. These metrics reflect Metaplanet’s strategy to enhance shareholder value through its bitcoin acquisition efforts.
