From the Liangxi Incident, We See CZ's Fear and Anxiety
CZ's response to the rumors about Liangxi surprised me; the casual teasing in his words sharply contrasts with his role as the head of Binance in dealing with such absurdity. The emphasis at the end on '119k people' tells us that CZ's feelings are not as light as his words suggest; he cares deeply about the spread of these statements, even if they are so ridiculous. (As of the time of writing, CZ has deleted the related tweets, which indirectly supports the argument of this article.)
This reflects a deeper level of anxiety and fear within CZ—CZ (and his dominion over Binance) fears losing control and guidance over the cryptocurrency industry and narrative, and is afraid that his public image has suffered irreversible damage. In fact, this anxiety and fear have existed since CZ was released from prison, and he has attempted to remedy and recover through constant manipulation of the market and users, completely disregarding the harm it causes. Now he is being bitten by his own actions, and the situation is becoming increasingly severe. We see him unable to resist responding to these absurd statements, possibly simply because their reach is significant.
