Altcoin season?
The CMC Altcoin Season Index has just rebounded from a low, returning to 18, looking “warmer”, but don't be fooled by appearances:
📉 The average for March is 32, and in February it was even 43, now it's just 18.
It's still dominated by Bitcoin, and altcoins are still “soaking in the hot springs”.
This indicator tracks the number of coins in the TOP 100 that have outperformed Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
Only when over 75% of altcoins outperform Bitcoin can it be considered a true altcoin season.
Will the altcoin season really come? Or is it just another wave of “baiting the bulls and then harvesting”?
