U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran faces unprecedented bombings if Tehran does not agree to a deal regarding its nuclear program.
"If they [the Iranians] do not make a deal <...>, then bombings will begin, the likes of which they have never seen," NBC News reports Trump's words.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian mentioned that in a response letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, the Iranian authorities refused direct negotiations but indicated they were ready to engage in dialogue through intermediaries.
According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the response was communicated to the U.S. through Oman.
