For example, when shorting a project you invested in and supported, doesn't it feel uncomfortable? Should you inform the project team? But the unanimous response was that compared to the fund's expiration next year, which might lead to job cuts due to investment performance, if shorting can recover a lot of profits, there’s nothing uncomfortable about it.
As for whether to inform the project team about shorting, the reply was that it’s unnecessary.
