📉 Zones of major liquidations for ETH are concentrated in the areas of $1777—1796 and $1115—1248

4️⃣ At the price of $1,255, there is a liquidation of 200,000 ETH ($251 million);

3️⃣ At $1,127 — 100,000 ETH ($113 million);

2️⃣ At $1,781 — 64,792 ETH ($115 million);

1️⃣ At $1,798 — 60,810 ETH ($109 million).

Whales are fighting to preserve capital. The owner of 67,000 ETH reduced their position by 2,882 ETH, selling coins for $5.21 million DAI to pay off a loan and lower the liquidation price to $1,781 (second to last on the list).

Another sold 25,800 ETH at a rate of $1,853, receiving $47.81 million USDT to pay off debt. This ether was bought with leverage at an average price of $3,084 in July 2024. The whale lost $31.75 million.

As you can see, the market is cutting not only retail on futures. Taking out loans to buy more crypto leads to such consequences.
