Metaplanet Announces Continued Bitcoin Purchases ($BTC )
Metaplanet, the company dubbed as “Asian MicroStrategy”, has just announced the purchase of 135 BTC worth approximately 1.8 billion yen on the morning of February 25, 2025 (Vietnam time). This is Metaplanet's first purchase this year after pausing new purchases in January 2025, and marks the beginning of its goal of owning 10,000 BTC in 2025.
As of now, Metaplanet is holding 2,235 BTC at an average price of approximately $83,000/BTC. With Bitcoin trading around $92,000, the company's portfolio is currently earning a return of approximately 23.2%.
