Is BTC the reserve of value of the future?
Bitcoin (BTC) is the most well-known cryptocurrency and the first to be created. Beyond its volatility, many see it as a form of "digital gold," a long-term store of value.
Why this view?
* Scarcity: Like gold, BTC has a limit of 21 million coins. This programmed scarcity could increase its value over time.
* Decentralization: BTC is not controlled by governments or central banks, making it resistant to inflation and censorship.
* Growing adoption: More and more companies and institutions are accepting BTC as a form of payment, driving its demand.
Is BTC the new gold? Only time will tell. But its potential as a store of value is undeniable.
