Lawyers have translated the provisions of the European regulation MiCA into Ukrainian
In 2024, the European regulation on the regulation of the cryptocurrency industry, Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA), will gradually start to come into effect.
Currently, the document has been translated into 24 official languages of EU countries. Ukraine is still a candidate for EU membership, so Ukrainian is not yet on the list.
However, experts from the law firm Manimama have decided to rectify the situation.
It is worth reminding that Ukraine is also synchronizing its own regulatory norms regarding cryptocurrencies with the European regulation. This is also why the already adopted law "On Virtual Assets" has been decided to be rewritten.
Currently, the positions of regulators on the implementation of MiCA vary. The National Securities and Stock Market Commission has repeatedly pointed out the need to synchronize the provisions of the European regulation and Ukrainian norms.
