Revolut has officially launched on the Ukrainian market
The British fintech company Revolut has announced its official launch on the Ukrainian market.
To open accounts and make transfers, users need to verify their identity through the Diia app.
In addition, the neobank introduced the Clear Sky debit card, which Ukrainians can get for free.
For customers from the UK and the European Economic Area, a charitable contribution of £5 (or equivalent) to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is provided for a card of this type.
Recall that the company is also known for providing cryptocurrency-related services. Thus, in May 2024, Revolut launched the Revolut X cryptocurrency exchange for experienced traders.
Later, in September of the same year, representatives of the neobank said that they were considering the possibility of launching their own stablecoins in cooperation with the Robinhood service.
In addition, last year Revolut entered into partnerships with crypto wallet MetaMask and Ledger, a manufacturer of hardware wallets for storing digital assets.
