2025 Oasis engineering roadmap
Since 2018, Oasis has been committed to the development of TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) technology. The goals for 2025 include the following two major directions:
Simplifying the development process: Supporting TDX containers, introducing dedicated 'ROFL Functions' applications, and lowering the development threshold.
Optimizing deployment experience: Launching ultra-lightweight stateless nodes, supporting automated distribution, and establishing a ROFL application deployment market.

Introducing GPU TEE support to unlock broader scenarios for AI applications.
Enhancing cross-chain communication efficiency of the Sapphire privacy layer, creating a cross-chain solution with no bridging fees and low latency.
Development tool improvements: Supporting Mac and Windows, providing development environments for TypeScript, Rust, Go, and Python.
In addition, the user experience (UX) will be upgraded. Through a newly designed Oasis UI, improvements will be made to user-facing applications like ROSE App and Blockvote, and a native ROSE bridge for Ethereum and other chains will be launched to enhance asset liquidity.
