SEC sues Nova Labs for alleged unregistered crypto securities offering
According to WuSay, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against Nova Labs, Inc. on January 17, 2025.
The SEC alleges that Nova Labs conducted an unregistered crypto asset securities offering and defrauded investors through the sale of “Hotspots” devices and “Discovery Mapping” programs since April 2019.
The SEC’s lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction against Nova Labs, disgorgement of ill-gotten gains, prejudgment interest, and civil penalties.
