The Binance 2025 New Year Fuka card event is nearing its end. Today is the last day to send contract gift boxes and draw Fuka cards. I consider myself one of the deep players in this event and have a lot of feelings about this event, so I wrote this article to summarize and share.
——————————
I was among the first batch of people in the market to take the plunge. Two hours after the event announcement was released on December 24, I read the complete event rules and packaged a welcome gift box, starting to advertise in various chat rooms in both Chinese and English, occasionally explaining the event rules. At that time, hardly anyone paid attention to me.
By observing the card data on the leaderboard, I determined that twelve grapes and Baklava (hereinafter referred to as grapes and Bak) are rare cards, while the Christmas tree is a secondary rare card, and it can be resold for profit through the function of gifting cards.
After a bland experience in the first three days of the event, on December 27 I made the first card transaction in the Binance chat room. At that time, everyone in the chat room was asking, 'What is this?' and 'It feels like you are performing.' Of course, among the people I traded with, apart from the scammer 'Stop after earning 30 million', the rest generally became the first batch of card dealers.
From December 27 to December 31, it was the hottest period for card trading in the Chinese circle. A set of grapes + Bak could be sold for over 50U. In contrast, there was almost no card trading market among foreigners, and the high prices of cards also led many retail investors to eagerly distribute regular gift boxes to draw cards. Unfortunately, because Fuka points take two days to arrive before drawing cards, by the time it was possible to draw cards two days later, the card prices had slightly depreciated.
However, objectively speaking, our card dealers' Fuka trading behavior has also contributed to more people being willing to send regular contract gift boxes.
There are three pools for producing Fuka cards: Everyone can draw seven cards through sign-in, which I call the sign-in card pool; sending welcome gift boxes allows drawing cards, which I call the welcome card pool; and sending regular gift boxes for drawing cards can be called the regular card pool.
Most players participated in the event on the second or third day after it started. By New Year’s Day, the sign-in card pool had basically announced its depletion, causing retail players to exit the card circulation market.
Although the welcome gift boxes I distributed have always been claimed, they have also been in a state of reduced production. By around New Year’s Day, my welcome gift boxes were basically not claimed by anyone.
As a result, there are only cards produced from the regular card pool with a minimum cost of 0.32U, and due to the trading in the previous few days, the market has become relatively transparent, with a large number of products displayed on Xianyu, leaving almost no arbitrage space, and many people have also obtained the cards they wanted.
Due to several overlapping reasons, I believe that the card trading market after New Year’s Day will shrink significantly, so I decided to exit the market and close down.
In the card flipping market, there are several roles: major players, retail investors, KOLs, and card dealers. These people have different attributes for collecting and offloading cards.
Major players are the source of funds in the entire card flipping market, aiming for lottery draws and ranking, using means such as collecting cards and distributing gift boxes to draw as many cards as possible. They often have a dominant pricing power in the card market, such as the second-ranked 'Battle God'.
Retail investors are the main producers in the first seven days of the sign-in card pool, with the largest number of people, actually owning the most cards, but having the least average number of cards per person, the weakest ability to offload, and the least understanding of market trends. Many retail investors also attempt to draw rare cards by distributing gift boxes to sell to card dealers for profit. Unfortunately, card dealers will not give these people, except for the luckiest ones, any arbitrage space.
KOLs are those with a large supply. I once saw a KOL receive 7 grapes in bulk for 200 yuan when the market was hottest. That day, the price of grapes experienced a sharp drop, but their ability to offload cards and understanding of market trends is weaker. Some KOLs choose not to offload and directly become major players to rank and draw lottery, like the first-ranked George.
Card dealers collect cards mainly from retail investors through chat rooms, group chats, and squares, and then sell cards through chat rooms, group chats, squares, Xianyu, and established channels with major players, making a profit from the price difference. They are the most sensitive to market trends, have the strongest ability to offload cards, and have a certain say in card pricing, but they often sell out, so card dealers will also exchange cards with each other.
I distributed a total of 28 welcome gift boxes: 5+3+5+5+3+3+3+1, exceeding most people. The trick here is not too difficult; apart from the first two days when there were Chinese people claiming my welcome gift boxes, the rest of the time, they were all foreign nationals.
There are three methods: First, our target customers are those who have never played contracts and know nothing about contract gift boxes. Our advertising messages must clearly explain step by step how to receive our gift box codes.
Secondly, compared to the high concentration of Chinese people, foreign language channels are more diverse. The popularity of contracts among foreign players is unclear, but it is worth trying, as it may be easier to find people willing to receive our contract gift boxes among foreign players. Therefore, we need to translate our advertising messages into English and send them to foreign language channels.
Thirdly, besides public chat rooms, KOL group chats and squares are also good places for advertising.
If we talk about mistakes, there are certainly mistakes: The first is that I did not anticipate that the loose change attribute of the Christmas tree and many people's participation mindset for a Christmas tree would expand the demand for the Christmas tree, which also pushed up its price.
Secondly, I was scammed twice. The first time was when I was scammed of a 3.5U advance payment during the early stage of card flipping by following the model of paying half in advance, paying for the card, and paying the final payment. The scammer's Binance ID is 1025753162, and their original nickname was Aunt Qi, but it has now been changed to 'Stop after earning 30 million'. This scammer is still posting in the square trying to scam another victim. The second time was when I was unfamiliar with Xianyu and sent the card without waiting for the buyer to pay; the appeal on Xianyu was of no use.

I distributed a total of 28 new welcome gift boxes, with a total profit of 28*0.45=11.25U; I received 121 regular gift boxes, estimated at 0.32U each, totaling 121*0.32=38.72U; the accounts for Fuka trading are quite messy and not very clear, but I earned two grapes and one Bak for final redemption, which should also be a profit.
Overall, Binance's Fuka event this time is full of sincerity and conscience, distributing countless rewards in the form of BNB, ETH, DOGS, and finally USDT vouchers, giving almost all players a sense of participation. I hope there will be more such activities in the future, and I wish Binance all the best.
