Global traders are on high alert, withdrawing high-risk bets and waiting for two major events to occur.$BTC
Last night, global markets closed with a rather unfavorable trend: the dollar rose, U.S. Treasury yields rose, and the U.S. stock market fell across the board—this has happened for two consecutive trading days. Given the above reasons, the Chinese stock market may also face some pressure today.
If the U.S. stock market falls again across the board tonight, caution is needed as it may lead to a 5%-10% correction. This drop may be different from the past; last time we at least heard bubble talk three times.
Next, two events will happen that will affect the fate of global markets:
· First, an important meeting in China may be held today, expected to last until Thursday. The timing of the meeting's conclusion is very good and professional, coinciding with the announcement of the U.S. November CPI the next day, when the tense atmosphere in global financial markets will have eased. This meeting will allow investors to see China's planning for next year again, and more supportive policy tones may emerge. The economic targets set by the meeting are undoubtedly of utmost concern to investors. A target around 5% can stabilize market expectations, but short-term stimulus measures need to be intensified, which may have some impact on the long-term rhythm. In fact, the specific number is not important; understanding is what matters. Furthermore, measures to stimulate consumption and budget deficit targets are also of investor interest.
· Second, at 21:30 Beijing time tonight, the U.S. will announce the November CPI data, which will be the last important inflation data before the Federal Reserve's final policy meeting of the year. Economists expect the overall and core CPI for November to increase by 0.3% month-on-month, with year-on-year growth rates expected to be 2.7% and 3.3% respectively. What we are most concerned about is the month-on-month increase in core CPI; if it exceeds the market expectation of 0.3%, it is very likely to prompt the Federal Reserve to consider pausing interest rate cuts in December.
Eternal hope.#加密市场回调
