U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Harris delivered her final pre-election speech at the place where Trump, on January 6, 2021, urged his supporters to 'fight like hell.' She warned American voters that Trump would unleash a 'floodgate' of revenge against his opponents, including ordinary voters, if elected. She promised to work tirelessly for every American.

Now, with less than a week until the 2024 U.S. elections, the election seems full of suspense, but in reality, there is no suspense. In fact, the possibility of Harris being elected has become extremely high. Some may question whether Trump is not catching up with Harris in many swing states, and even showing signs of surpassing her. I want to say that if you choose to believe in the polls, then we have already witnessed the first female president in U.S. history. In 2016, almost all polls predicted that Hillary would win the election, but Trump made a comeback.

Some may question that Harris lacks leadership charisma and is not the strongest candidate in the Democratic Party. The United States is a capitalist society, and the person chosen by capital may not necessarily be the strongest, as long as they are obedient. In fact, the U.S. elections can also be seen as choosing the least rotten apple among two bad ones. In 2016, capital was merely teased by polls, believing that the Hillary they promoted would surely win the election, but a moment of negligence led to a grave mistake. Now capital is quite clear-headed; they will not allow another 'black swan' to appear.

Some also question whether Trump has not already gained an advantage in four out of seven swing states. In fact, among the seven swing states, three are blue wall states, three are red wall states, and one only plays a role when it is a tie. The three blue wall states are Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Currently, Harris has a slight advantage in these three states, and Trump has not turned these three states red in the polling data. On the contrary, the red wall state of Georgia may turn blue due to Harris. If we acknowledge that America is a capitalist country, then capital can exert its crucial role, ensuring that the three blue wall states do not fall and turning one red wall state blue, allowing pro-capital Harris to be elected.

Therefore, there is basically no need to look at the polls for the U.S. elections; they have lost their reference value since 2016. There is no need to approach the return of the 'wise king' with a spectator's mindset; we must recognize the power of capital in a capitalist society. Capital will no longer be dormant, allowing Trump, the black swan, to return and disrupt capital again. The U.S. elections are merely a tumultuous farce, with the result already determined from the beginning.
