ZK rollup Scroll has integrated Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), an integration that will allow developers to build secure and novel decentralized applications on Scroll while expanding the multi-chain ecosystem. With Chainlink’s CCIP, developers are able to create secure applications that support token transfers, messaging, and action initiation across multiple blockchains. CCIP’s programmable token transfer capabilities enable smart contracts to send tokens across different chains in a single transaction and process specific instructions for tokens when they arrive.
