But here’s what I find interesting: the recovery is happening just before a major Zcash network development.

A convincing 4H close above $1,245 could strengthen the recovery. However, rejection around this area could bring another test of support.
🔥 The bigger story: NU7 Upgrade
Zcash’s upcoming NU7 upgrade is expected around November 5.
One of its biggest changes is reducing block intervals from 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
That’s an important network improvement. But remember, better technology doesn’t automatically mean an immediate increase in price.
My personal market view:
I’m cautiously optimistic about the short-term recovery, but I don’t consider this a confirmed breakout yet.
My suggestion: Don’t rush into a move simply because ZEC is showing an 8% gain. Watch the $1,245 level and see whether price can hold its recovery. Confirmation matters more than excitement.

2. Governance Z cash's grants committee dropped a proposal to redirect 98,000 ZEC toward future mining rewards. This is an important development in the project’s funding discussion.
3. Momentum vs. Reality
$ZEC has gained nearly 7% in 24 hours, but a strong daily move doesn’t automatically mean a sustainable recovery.
The market still needs to demonstrate that buyers can maintain momentum.
My Observation
What makes Zcash interesting isn’t simply its price movement.
Its privacy-focused technology, shielded transactions and ongoing network development give it a different story from many other cryptocurrencies.
However, technical upgrades and positive headlines don’t guarantee price appreciation.

One thing I’m watching closely with Zcash right now is the upcoming NU7 network upgrade. There is more happening here than just a green candle.
Let’s look at the numbers first.

The recovery is impressive, but the price has already experienced a wide intraday move. That tells me volatility is still very much present.
What’s driving attention?
The biggest upcoming development is Zcash’s NU7 upgrade, expected around November 5 at block height 3,543,405.
The upgrade is designed to reduce block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
That’s a significant improvement in network speed. Importantly, daily ZEC issuance is designed to remain unchanged, so this is not a sudden supply reduction.
Another interesting development: Zcash Community Grants has withdrawn its proposal to redirect approximately 98,000 $ZEC towards future mining rewards. The community governance debate is still ongoing.
Let’s talk about the chart.
Here are the levels I’m watching:
🔴 Resistance: $1,350–$1,352
🟢 First support: $1,300–$1,302
🟢 Next support: $1,270–$1,280
A convincing move above $1,350 with sustained volume would make the recovery more interesting.
On the other hand, rejection around this area could bring another test of lower support levels.
Something interesting in Futures data:
Binance USDS-M Open Interest increased from approximately $508M to nearly $589M during the recent observation period, before easing to around $573M.
Funding is also slightly positive at around 0.01%.
This tells me derivatives participation has increased, but it also means we should respect the possibility of sudden volatility. Rising Open Interest alone does not confirm a bullish trend.
My personal take:
I wouldn’t chase the green candle here.
For me, the important thing is whether ZEC can hold its recovery and establish acceptance above $1,350. The NU7 upgrade is an important fundamental development, but the market still needs to confirm the move.
