OKX topped crypto exchanges with about $445 M of daily net inflows, while Binance saw net outflows topping $7 B in the same period 📈. SpaceX, Tesla, Amazon, Netflix, SoFi, and Lam Research have joined the companies opposing the OKXICE project, a partnership between OKX and the company that owns the New York Stock Exchange. The proposal aims to allow people to buy and sell digital versions of US stocks 24 hours a day. A total of 56 companies have now expressed their opposition. Of these, 49 are among the original list of 62 companies selected, nearly 79%, while another seven filed objections despite not being included initially. The public notices do not explain the individual reasons for the opposition. Opposing this project also does not necessarily mean being against all initiatives of this kind, but the growing resistance could force changes to the offering before its launch. #OKX #OKXICE $SPCXB {spot}(SPCXBUSDT) $TSLAB {spot}(TSLABUSDT) $AMZNB {spot}(AMZNBUSDT)

Another batch of major companies has said no to OKXICE, the tokenized U.S. stock platform launched by OKX and NYSE parent ICE. Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX, Netflix, SoFi, and Lam Research appeared on the updated list on Monday. CoinDesk estimates that about 49 of the original 62 companies oppose the plan—roughly 80%—bringing the total number of disclosed opponents to 56. The idea is to trade tokenized U.S. stocks around the clock, seven days a week, using stablecoins, under an SEC “innovation exemption.” Companies are still waiting to see whether the system can get off the ground. Those that have yet to take a position include Apple, Coinbase, Robinhood, Strategy, and Circle. #代币化股票 #OKX

Even Nvidia Doesn’t Want Its Shares Tokenized? OKX × ICE Tokenized Stocks Get a Collective “No” from 50 Companies 🚫 📊 According to CoinDesk / Decrypt: • An announcement updated on Oct. 30 added 12 companies objecting, including Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron, and Reddit • The total number of objecting companies has reached 50; of the original 62, about 69% have explicitly opposed the plan • The number has snowballed from 9 on Oct. 15 → 38 on Oct. 28 → 50 • 19 companies have yet to state a position, including Apple, Tesla, and Amazon; the 30-day objection window is due to close around this Tuesday 🧠 My take: Under the SEC’s innovation exemption, if an issuer objects in time, third parties can’t list tokenized versions of its shares. RWA and stock tokenization are big narratives, but the “without issuer authorization” approach is clearly running into hurdles. The real opportunity may lie in compliant models where issuers participate directly, rather than third parties forcing their way in. 📉 Market snapshot: BTC is around $76,000–$77,000; the Fear & Greed Index is 34 (Fear). The narrative is hot, but prices are cold. 👉 What do you think will ultimately win in stock tokenization: issuers doing it themselves, or third-party platforms breaking through? I just saw that 49 of the 62 companies named in the tokenized U.S. stock project by OKX and ICE, the parent company of the NYSE, have publicly said no (according to CoinDesk, about 79%). The latest additions are Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX, and Netflix. Honestly, I’m a little surprised. I thought big companies would be rushing to get on-chain. On the other hand, Apple, Strategy, Coinbase, and Robinhood haven’t publicly opposed it so far. I can understand everyone taking a wait-and-see approach—no one can say for sure yet what 24/7 on-chain trading will do to stock prices. Still, I think tokenized stocks are inevitable; they’re just taking longer than expected. Do you think this will eventually take off? DYOR #代币化股票 #OKX #RWA

The tokenized stocks initiative has hit a serious obstacle: the joint venture between OKX and ICE, the parent company of the NYSE. According to CoinDesk, 12 more companies, including Nvidia, Costco, Nike, and Micron, have joined the opposition, bringing the total to 50. Of the 62 companies initially selected, 43 (about 69%) have raised objections. For companies notified on October 4, the 30-day objection period ends around November 3. Nineteen companies have yet to publicly oppose it, including Apple, Tesla, Amazon, and Netflix. But “not opposing” doesn’t mean “supporting.” The platform envisions round-the-clock trading of U.S. stocks using stablecoins like $USDT. It sounds cool, but the key question is whether the issuers will give it the green light. OKX Co-Chairman Cuomo says this is just the beginning. My take: in the short term, this looks more like a drawn-out effort to persuade big companies. I couldn’t find direct data on $OKB’s price, so I won’t draw a conclusion. #代币化股票 #OKX For informational purposes only; this is not investment advice.

Even Nvidia and Nike aren’t on board! 50 companies unite against putting stocks on-chain! This is pretty interesting. OKX and ICE, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, are planning to tokenize stocks, making it possible to trade U.S. stocks on the blockchain. But the latest list shows that the number of companies opposed has already climbed to 50. Nvidia, Nike, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, and Coca-Cola are among them. Why are these major companies against it? Put simply, putting stocks on-chain could change trading hours, liquidity, and trading channels. For the crypto industry, this is a new market. But for publicly traded companies, how their shares are traded and who manages them are matters of real financial interest. I think this is more worth paying attention to than just hyping up a new concept. What do you think: is putting stocks on-chain an upgrade to the financial markets, or just another speculative market? #OKX #代币化股票 #RWA #NVIDIA #加密货币

On November 2, OKX published its 49th Proof of Reserves: $BTC had a reserve ratio of 108%, $ETH 101%, $USDT 106%, and USDC 100%. The four assets combined amounted to approximately $27.8 billion in reserves, and more than 20 major coins disclosed all had ratios of at least 100%. Since the first report in November 2022, these proofs have been published monthly, reaching issue 49. The number of disclosed coins has grown from 3 to more than 20, and the verification method has shifted from Merkle trees to zk-STARKs. But reserve ratios only answer whether the coins in the wallets were sufficient at a particular moment; they don’t say how much the platform owes users in total. The 108% BTC figure is a snapshot and will change if a batch of coins is withdrawn next month. What could change the assessment is the liabilities being disclosed monthly too. Until then, this is a checkup of assets, not proof of solvency. In the next report, we’ll see whether the combined reserves of the four assets can still hold at $27.8 billion. #OKX #储备金证明 #ExchangeTransparency

The opposition list has grown to 50 companies, with Nvidia and Nike among the latest to join. What I saw: In its October 30 announcement, OKXICE said the number of objecting companies had risen from 26 on October 26 to 38 on October 28, then climbed by another 12 in two days to reach 50. New additions include Costco, Micron, and Reddit, as well as Nvidia and Nike. The platform initially proposed listing shares from 62 companies. Under the SEC’s September 17 temporary exemption, shares that receive timely objections cannot be traded on this platform in the form of third-party tokens. (Source: crypto.news, November 1) My take: With more than half of the issuers blocking the platform before it has even launched, the “launch first, ask permission later” approach is basically dead in the water. A collective no from issuers is more direct than any regulatory filing. What I’ll do: I’ll watch to see whether OKXICE switches to a model based on partnerships with issuers or simply cuts down its list. This assessment would no longer hold if a company withdrew its objection or the platform secured issuer authorization to list its shares. The tokenized stock venue jointly launched by OKX and NYSE parent ICE has had 80% of its shelves emptied before it even opened. On November 1, reporter Eleanor Terrett disclosed that, according to an October 30 announcement by OKXICE, the number of listed companies opposing the tokenization of their own stocks had reached 50. Among the 12 new additions are Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron, and Reddit, as well as tech-heavy names like CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks. Traders on X are calling it the biggest corporate revolt against tokenization yet, and the numbers back them up. 33 major US companies now formally object to having their shares tokenized on OKXICE, the OKX and ICE joint venture planning 24/7 stablecoin-settled trading of US stocks. The count jumped from 26 to 33 in a single day after JPMorgan, Coca-Cola, Dell, AMD, Adobe, Applied Materials and Sandisk joined the list on Oct 27 (CoinDesk, Unchained). That is 30 of the 62 companies on the venue's original roster, about 48%, now opted out. Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, IBM and Intel were already on it. 📊 WHY IT MATTERS Issuers worry a third-party tokenized venue creates a shadow equity market: fragmented liquidity, scattered trading and weaker investor protections. But here is the part most coverage misses. An objection to OKXICE is not a rejection of tokenization itself. It only blocks that one venue, and it says nothing about issuers tokenizing their own shares on their own terms. 🔹 THE TWIST Alphabet is on the objector list, yet Google unveiled its Multi-Party Compute custody product for banks this week, and Alphabet already secures its own digital assets on $ETH and Solana (CoinDesk). The same company saying no to tokenized GOOGL is building the rails for banks to hold crypto. 🎯 WHAT TO WATCH Apple, Nvidia and Amazon have not objected yet, and their windows close in early November. If they stay silent, OKXICE launches with the biggest names still on the board. If they join, the venue loses its anchor tickers and onchain equity demand shifts toward permissionless perps, where one estimate already puts daily Alphabet perp volume near $39M (Memeburn).

📊 WHY IT MATTERS

Issuers worry a third-party tokenized venue creates a shadow equity market: fragmented liquidity, scattered trading and weaker investor protections. But here is the part most coverage misses. An objection to OKXICE is not a rejection of tokenization itself. It only blocks that one venue, and it says nothing about issuers tokenizing their own shares on their own terms.

🔹 THE TWIST

Alphabet is on the objector list, yet Google unveiled its Multi-Party Compute custody product for banks this week, and Alphabet already secures its own digital assets on $ETH and Solana (CoinDesk). The same company saying no to tokenized GOOGL is building the rails for banks to hold crypto.

🎯 WHAT TO WATCH

Apple, Nvidia and Amazon have not objected yet, and their windows close in early November. If they stay silent, OKXICE launches with the biggest names still on the board. If they join, the venue loses its anchor tickers and onchain equity demand shifts toward permissionless perps, where one estimate already puts daily Alphabet perp volume near $39M (Memeburn).

Is this a speed bump for tokenized stocks, or the moment Wall Street draws the line? 🐂🐻
