Dear readers, I’d like to share something that just happened to me:

Today I went to the P2P marketplace to sell some cryptocurrency, and suddenly the platform asked me to verify my account using a phone number. Thinking it was a new app update, I proceeded to authenticate with my fingerprint. After entering my number and tapping Send, I received a WhatsApp message from a sender named "Bena OTP."

This made me very curious, so I decided to look into it online. When I asked an artificial intelligence, it told me this could be a scam. So I’d like to ask you: do you think this is an attempt by a hacker to interfere with my transactions, or is it actually a new requirement for the P2P marketplace?

As a precaution, I decided to delete the app and log in from another phone, but the system keeps asking me for the same authentication.

Has this happened to anyone else? What do you recommend I do?
