The top gainer today is an obscure name.
At the 1:30 a.m. UTC snapshot on November 3, YELLOW was around $0.1338, up about 49% over 24 hours.
In the same snapshot, 24-hour trading volume was about $4.82 million.
At the same time, the total market cap across the entire market was about $2.67 trillion, down about 0.5% over 24 hours.
Bitcoin was around $76,900 over the same period, down about 1.65% in 24 hours.
While the broader market was shrinking, it surged nearly 50% on its own.
The gain wasn’t built up gradually—it shot straight to the top of the rankings in the snapshot.
With trading volume below $5 million, that level of liquidity can’t support large-scale buying and selling.
The faster it claims the top spot, the faster it often falls back down.
When an obscure coin shoots to the top, first check whether volume is keeping pace with price.
