I am new to futures trading and I want to learn XAUUSDT (GOLD) properly.

I have a very small account ($1.50) and I am trying to learn scalping with proper risk management. I took a small SELL from 4045.57 with TP 4040 and SL 4052, 10x leverage.

I noticed Gold is very volatile and respects 4044 support a lot. I am learning to manage small profits and cut small losses quickly.

1. Is it good to trade Gold with a small account?

$XAU /USDT bouncing strongly from bottom? 👀

XAU is trading at $4,064.73 (+0.97%) and showing strong recovery from $3,979.21 low. Price is back above EMA(7) $4,051.72 and Supertrend(10,3) $4,008.49 - bulls are taking control. 24h High $4,078.52 and 24h Low $3,999.15, volume 428,459 XAU / 1.73B USDT.

Bollinger MB is at $4,021.99 and price is trading well above it, pushing towards BOLL UP $4,022.99 which is now acting as support. Immediate resistance is AVL $4,069.43 and 24h High $4,078.52. If we break $4,078 with volume, next target is $4,092.93 EMA(99) and then $4,196.75 high.

Support is Supertrend $4,008.49 and SAR $4,004.99. A hold above $4,008 will keep bullish momentum intact. If we lose $4,021.99 BOLL MB, next support is $3,999.15 and then $3,979.21 low and $3,971.00 BOLL DN.

SAR is at $4,004.99, price is trading well above SAR - bullish signal intact. Volume 33.5K (136M USDT) is below MA(5) 71.3K and MA(10) 64.5K, buying is there but needs more volume for breakout.

RSI(6) is at 68.29 - near overbought but still bullish, not topping yet, still room for upside to 75+.

I'm watching $4,069.43 AVL breakout closely. A 4h close above it could push us quickly towards $4,078.52 and then $4,092. A close below $4,021.99 could give pullback to $4,008 and $3,999.

$XAU at $4,029 - Is $4k recovery real or just a dead cat bounce?

Real talk, $XAU is fighting hard at $4k. Right now $4,029.58 and 24h low was $3,986.13. We tried to recover from $3,979 but still under heavy pressure. We fell from $4,700 high and still not out of danger.

On my 1D chart:
Supertrend is $4,138 - still acting as big resistance.
BOLL lower band DN is $3,980 - we are sitting right on it, bouncing from there.
EMA7 $4,038 and EMA25 $4,125 and EMA99 $4,249 all above price, so trend is still bearish.
AVL is $3,996 - we are just above it.
RSI(6) 22.29 - fully oversold, sellers are exhausted.

My take: If $3,986 holds, we can see a bounce to $4,038 (EMA7) then $4,121 (BOLL mid). But if $3,986 breaks, next support is $3,943 then $3,900.

I am not shorting here at the bottom, waiting for confirmation. Volume is getting low which shows panic selling is ending.
