CNN found that Trump praised or promoted more than 20 companies on the social network Truth Social shortly after his investment managers bought shares in those companies.
➢ According to journalists, in 2025 Trump bought shares in at least 21 companies at least 44 times, and then within a week posted positive messages on Truth Social about those companies, their executives, or their products. Among them are Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, GE Aerospace, Eli Lilly, American Eagle, and others.
❌ The White House rejects the allegations, saying that the president’s assets are managed by independent financial managers and that Trump himself does not influence the deals.
❗️ However, unlike most previous U.S. presidents, he did not put his assets into a blind trust, so he potentially may know which stocks he owns.
