This week, @trondao shared a UQUID case: Claude AI Virtual Card on TRON can be topped up using digital assets, so you can use it with Claude Pro, Max, and the API.
The idea is simple: if AI happens on the internet, then payments for that service should be able to move on the internet just as smoothly.
On the infrastructure side, TRON documentation states that the network produces blocks on average about every 3 seconds.
This doesn’t mean every payment is completed in 3 seconds, but it reflects that the network is designed to keep up with fast-paced work happening more and more frequently—from calling APIs to AI agents that might buy data or do compute themselves.
For me, the interesting part isn’t just which chain is faster, but whether the money matches the “speed of the work”—whether it gets there in time.
If AI can complete a task in a few seconds, but the payment process still has to go through multiple checkpoints, then the one who crosses the finish line first might not be the smartest AI.
It could be a system that doesn’t force it to stop and wait at the payment checkpoint 🏃♂️💳
