The most important part of this rally may not be the move itself — it’s the change in positioning behind it.

Bitcoin moved sharply higher, while billions in short positions were liquidated along the way.

At the same time, the U.S. Treasury doubled the size of some long-term bond buyback operations, adding another layer to the liquidity story.

That creates an interesting setup: part of this move may be genuine demand, while another part has been accelerated by short liquidations.

Now comes the part I care about.

What happens when the liquidations slow down?

If BTC can hold these levels and attract fresh demand without another wave of short liquidations, we’ll learn much more about the real strength behind this rally.

The move itself is interesting, but what matters more to me is what happened before it. While attention was elsewhere, the ecosystem kept developing, and we stayed with it through the quieter periods.

That’s why I’m leaning higher on AUCTION.

I’m not looking at today’s chart in isolation. I’ve followed this project through the difficult phases too, and that gives the current move a different meaning for me.

I’ve been looking at DOT differently lately.

The price is sitting near levels that would normally make people write it off, but that’s exactly what makes the current situation interesting to me.

Polkadot has changed more than its chart suggests.

The supply model has been reworked, the network is moving toward a hard 2.1B DOT cap, and the longer-term vision is shifting toward Coretime and JAM.

Yet the market still seems to judge DOT largely by its old reputation.

That’s the part I find interesting.

Maybe the real question isn’t whether Polkadot is still relevant.

Maybe it’s whether the market has actually noticed what Polkadot is becoming.

I don’t have a conclusion yet.
