I studied it for a while, but I still can’t figure out what $Monkey’s market cap actually is. And that’s exactly what makes it so funny🤣
1. What is a monkey coin
“Monkey coin” originally caught on as an abstract meme on Douyin/TikTok: infinite supply, never-stopping airdrops—on the order of a googol, the exchange rate always keeps dumping, and in the end even a googol of monkey coins can’t be exchanged for a pile of chicken poop.
It mocked just about everything absurd in crypto: air coins, unlimited minting, insider hype, retail eventually hitting zero.
On BSC, this $Monkey has written the joke into its contract:
- Total supply 10^76, decimals=0;
- Most of the supply is sent to a dead address (burn address). Currently, major platforms calculate the circulating supply as about 6.904×10^30 coins;
- The main pool is paired with XAUt (Tether Gold, tokenized gold).
Going from chicken poop straight to gold is basically giving itself a hype boost🤣
For the price and market cap timeline, I’m using the aggregated price from Binance Wallet:
Launched on 8/4, intraday low around 14K, closed at 409K;
8/5 hit a high of 4.62M;
8/7 ATH (all-time high market cap) around 8.30M;
8/11 dipped back to 1.06M;
8/12 bounced back to 4.73M;
8/13 around 09:15 roughly 3.59M.
The price itself is roughly 5.2×10^-25 U—that’s a long string of zeros after the decimal point. At that price, 1 U can buy about 1.9×10^24 Monkey coins (for now, I still can’t buy a pile of chicken poop

2. Why am I bullish?
First, I naturally prefer memes that are relatively “clean” (like $Hakime). No need to research the complex logic of AI, DeFi, or RWA products—a pile of chicken poop can tell the story just fine. And it’s a Web2 meme first, with the coin-market coming later; it’s not a case of hard-coding a story only after the token is issued.
It really baked the absurdity into the token supply, the trading pool, and the data dashboard.
