You know how to measure contracts (OI) and real money (O.I. NV). The last link in the chain is the Funding Rate.

The Funding Rate is the payment made between Long and Short traders at certain intervals to keep Futures prices very close to the Spot price. It’s the thermometer of institutional greed and fear.

To close your strategy using this indicator, you need to cross O.I. NV with the Funding using these two liquidation rules:

1. The Bullish Leverage Trap

O.I. NV spiking + High Positive Funding: This means the market is flooded with aggressive Longs who are paying hefty fees to Shorts just to keep their positions open.

Here’s a danger alert because the price is overextended due to greed. The whales know this, halt the rise, and with a small downward movement trigger a Long Liquidation cascade. O.I. NV plummets vertically while they sweep up the money from the impatient.

2. The Fuel for the Short Squeeze

O.I. NV rising strongly + High Negative Funding: Shorts are desperate, selling the asset and paying fees to Longs to maintain their bearish positions.

The market is oversold and loaded with stops at the top. As soon as a large buy order comes in, Shorts are forced to close, triggering a Short Squeeze.

To trade with more security and clarity, your screen should confirm these three variables beforehand:

1. Real Strength: Price breaks resistance + O.I. NV rising + Neutral/healthy Funding. (Solid trend, we can enter in favor).

2. Imminent Hunt: Price rising + O.I. NV at highs + Funding nearing the positive extreme. (Don’t buy there; the algorithm is about to seek an Inverse Position towards the lower liquidity pools).

With this post, I’m closing a trilogy, and you have valuable information at your disposal about one of the best indicators that Binance allows us to have.

Challenge of 20 to 50 dollars # 11

Finally! To be honest, I expected to have the chance to finish this challenge much faster, but it ended up taking me a total of 5 days to grow my capital by 150%

There were a lot of trades and many interesting moments, but we made it—and in the end it was thanks to this last operation that it went in our favor, $RARE

And now that I think about it, I still have three open trades: one of them has a loss of more than $10... What should I do with this one? Should I close it or wait for the moment when the price puts me back into profit?

Challenge of 20 to 50 dollars #1 (II)

We’re starting again with 20 dollars in the Futures account and our first trade will be Langosta $龙虾

For me this works very easily: if the price recovers, my account will go up; if it doesn’t recover, it will go down more and therefore I’ll see losses in my account. Ideally, I would have let this loss go, but I reviewed it well and my analysis still holds, so I keep my position with Langosta in Long and 3 dollars of margin leveraged at 10X.

Will Langosta soon give us good surprises or will we end up closing it at a loss? I say the first option—we’ll see it soon, and I hope it doesn’t end up being for the third time when we try to go from 20 to 50 😅

Challenge of 20 to 50 dollars # 8

A big mistake led me to a loss with <$FLOCK > that made me fall back in my search for 250% PnL, and here there was a very clear error that I must highlight and that again brings up the importance of patience.

When I saw the market drop and had this position in an unrealized loss of $6, I decided to add another $2 to what I already had in this position, and as the drop continued, it generated a bigger loss. My idea was that if the price bounced, I could get out faster, but of course, doing a DCA without a Stop Loss is crazy—burning accounts—and I’m crazy, but I’m not going to burn my account 😅

In the end, a Stop Loss hit and a loss of money and time to continue the progress. Even so, we’re still doing well with Profit, and this continues.

Some of you have already told me that you managed to make more than $50 with these entries; even one of the girls from the community has already passed $100, and that’s a huge success 🔥🤍🔥

$KERNEL was a unique trade for us. We locked in an early entry, then sat through over 18 flat hours before the chart finally went parabolic right on stream, boosting our challenge balance significantly! 😋

In the end, 18 hours of holding came down to 15 crazy, high-adrenaline minutes! Gut feelings can lead to total busts just as easily as fast profits, but patience is the real secret to staying ahead in this market. This play proved it was worth the wait.

$FLOCK en its high volatility helped us by adding a few cents. The fair price is now in the middle of a range and at a decisive point where only the algorithm knows what the next move was—whether it would trigger an aggressive correction or a good liquidation of Shorts, and I’d bet on the latter.

For now I’m monitoring indicators and waiting for a better entry opportunity, but I can’t complain—it’s almost a dollar added, and we’re close to the goal.

We took advantage of a moment of recent volatility of $TNSR by going Long with a couple of dollars at 25X, and the trade closed during the correction with at least 50% of what we had been up.

In my Bitácora Operativa group we are doing a dynamic that consists of taking a Futures portfolio from 20 dollars to 50 USDT this week, trading Futures. I know it’s not something too difficult, but it still requires knowledge and discipline.

$USELESS is the first position chosen to enter with one dollar and leverage up to 50X. We start from a point where it is clearly showing signs of exhaustion, although there’s no guarantee of that—it's possible that USELESS will feel the need to correct strongly, or that this asset is already at the time to start deflating.

For now it’s going very well, and we’re hoping it keeps going and lets us capture a good part of the move toward 50. We already placed an SL at 0.28586, which guarantees a one-dollar profit to start adding to the portfolio 🤗
