🚨 ElizaOS Crashes 19% — Founder Says “The Token Is Dead”

ElizaOS ($ELIZAOS) has plunged 19% in just 24 hours, reaching a new all-time low around $0.000284.

The biggest shock came from founder Shaw Walters, who reportedly said the token is “dead” and confirmed that the Eliza Foundation is winding down.

According to the report, the remaining treasury was transferred as part of a settlement with tokenholders following a lawsuit. The project’s open-source AI-agent software will reportedly continue, but without an associated cryptocurrency.

📉 This is a major turnaround: the token’s predecessor, AI16Z, once reached a market cap of around $2.5 billion in January 2025.

Now the project’s future appears to be focused entirely on AI-agent development rather than a token economy.
