🚨 Bitcoin ETF AUM just crossed $80.9 billion — and tonight one of the biggest companies on Earth reports earnings with Bitcoin still on its balance sheet.

The institutional Bitcoin story isn't only ETFs. Tesla still holds 11,509 BTC — about $760 million at today's price — and Q2 numbers land after the US close. Two things are worth watching:

1) Did they touch the stack? Tesla is ramping toward $25 billion in AI and robotics this year — enough to push cash flow negative. No sign they sold in Q2, but if a cash-hungry giant ever trims Bitcoin to fund AI, that's a supply story. Holding through the build is the quiet conviction signal.

2) The accounting changed the game. Under the new fair-value rules, Tesla marks its Bitcoin to market every quarter — so the coin's price swing now lands directly in a mega-cap's reported profit. Between ETFs holding $80.9 billion and Bitcoin sitting inside S&P 500 income statements, adoption is compounding faster than price.

My read: forget the one-day reaction. When whether Bitcoin rises or falls is a line item in Tesla's earnings, the access story is maturing — slowly, then all at once.
