How I lost 180,000 tenge on a “Binance manager” from WhatsApp — and why I still stayed in cryptoThis is not a success story. It's a story about how I was that very beginner who trusted a stranger. It all started in February 2024. I'm a freelancer; clients paid in USDT, and the exchange office in Almaty took almost a 7% commission. A friend sent me Binance. First thought: “This is for hackers and millionaires; I won’t figure it out.”

What a real start in crypto looks like without “million-dollar balances” 🇰🇿👇I remember the day I first registered on Binance. In the chats, everyone was comparing thousands of dollars, and I was sitting there with the thought: “Is it even worth starting with a couple thousand tenge?” Entry point: It all began with a simple desire to protect my funds from devaluation and to try how digital assets work. My first step was straightforward—making a P2P purchase and testing with small amounts. I remember the feeling in the first week: I checked my balance every half hour. Before, crypto seemed to me like something from the realm of advanced mathematics, but now it’s just a regular everyday tool on my phone.

How a meta tapper led me into cryptoIt all started with the New Year holidays of 2024. The country was finishing off the New Year’s oливье, and I was sitting on the couch, and… endlessly tapping my finger on my smartphone screen. In the Kazakhstan TG community back then, they gathered a squad for Notcoin. In the chat there was an atmosphere of total celebration and collective madness: well-educated adults were, quite seriously, competing to see who could summon more virtual coins. Until that moment, I thought crypto was just a way to launder criminal money. Turns out, in reality, it’s much more interesting, and for me entering Web3 in 2024 happened through mini apps in Telegram.

Да. Таких много, главный плюс таких проектов - они привели новых людей на рынок.
In the year I became a graduate student, I was hearing about bitcoin, ether, and many other cryptocurrencies. In that same 2021 year, on Instagram, I read a comment about Binance. It said that the easiest way to buy crypto is on this platform. At first, I didn’t really believe it, but I was very curious and registered through the website. Later, I even installed an additional app on my phone. The hardest part, I think, was exchanging real money via P2P into the USDT currency. I was worried that the other party might not send the money. The good thing, though, was that the listed banks were banks in Kazakhstan. In addition, each seller had a rating. That is, it showed how many times the seller had sold the currency and how many times the sales were successful or unsuccessful. Later, I got used to it, and after reading the lessons from the Binance Academy here, I fully learned how to sell and buy. Using their deposits is very easy. Among them, I chose the person with the strongest rating and bought 100 USDT that year. My advice is not to keep all your funds in one platform. Even keeping everything in just one bank carries a risk. Overall, this platform is a good place for investment, because you look up information about all assets yourself. #BinanceKZ

The birth of Bitcoin 10 years ago was on the periphery of my mind. Back then, it probably seemed like just another shady internet project. A couple of years ago, when 1 Bitcoin was worth two Mercedes cars, I decided to jump onto this speeding express train. From my earned balance in one Android app, I transferred the funds into BTC. That’s how I ended up with an asset with many zeros in front. I registered and completed verification on BINANCE. A clear, understandable interface encouraged me to keep learning about crypto. I decided to move part of my funds into a promising coin connected with AI. I chose TAU. And it started shooting up. From that moment on, every day pleased me with consistent balance growth. After a while, the growth slowed down, there was a bounce down, then another… And TAU took a dive. That’s volatility. To lock in profits, you have to keep a close eye on the market and the news, and continuously improve your psychology. Crypto is interesting and promising. Behind it, you can feel the future. A sober calculation, market analysis, and healthy risk. I think that combination holds the key to success. #BinanceKZ

Hello, crypto friends!👋 A year ago I signed up on Binance. Strange words: futures, spot, staking, and others — both scared and fascinated me at the same time. Bulls and bears, fear and greed... I started reading posts and got hooked. The community warmly supported newcomers: they suggested what to start with, what to study, and which books to read. Thank you so much to everyone who shares their knowledge and experience! ❤️ Do you remember your first day in crypto? What scared you the most? #BinanceKZ #BinanceSquare #MyCryptoJourney #MyFirstPost #Binance

My path into crypto began with the news about how Justin Sun bought and ate a banana for $6.2 million. I messaged my sister that she should buy Tron (TRX), but then I accidentally sent her a link to a computer from the marketplace I was browsing. My sister got confused—she thought Tron was a computer—and didn’t buy anything. Over the next three days, TRX grew by 2–3 times. My sister decided to buy it after all, but she entered at the peak, and then the coin dropped. During this drop, I bought the second portion, and in total we ended up with about 108 coins. This summer, TRX seemed too boring to me, and I exchanged it for SUI. The decision turned out to be right—now my 47.31 SUI are showing +40% profit.#BinanceKZ

From First Steps During the Pandemic to Buying an Apartment: My Honest Path in Crypto Without Unrealistic Expectations 🏠My story in crypto began at the same time as the coronavirus. I heard about Bitcoin in 2013 and wanted to buy it in 2015… but, like probably many others, something prevented me from acquiring it. Until 2021, I was trading stocks in the stock market; then, on the advice of a respected trader, I took a closer look at cryptocurrencies. I chose Binance because of its large volumes and convenient trading terminal. I was very drawn to the volatility of the cryptocurrency market and the low entry barrier. My first spot trade was with Dogecoin: I bought it for 7 cents and, pleased with it, sold it at 20… Since then, I’ve learned a lot, traded, built up practical experience, and combined it with working in an office. In 2022, for one futures trade, I earned three of my salaries (the idea is still saved in the screenshots). There were also big losses and FOMO. But to this day, I still believe that trading is the most profitable and interesting profession. Aim for stability and for working remotely, but don’t miss your opportunities. Manage risk—sometimes a sparrow in the hand is better than a stop-loss. Keep learning constantly. #BinanceKZ BinanceKZ

How I came to crypto ...I first heard about Bitcoin in 2019. Back then, everyone was talking about “digital gold,” and I was shaking my head, thinking: “Some kind of unclear coins that are worth nothing.” I was a classic skeptic—I only believed in banks, deposits, and a paycheck in my card account. But one day a friend showed me a chart: in a couple of years, Bitcoin had grown by hundreds of times. Something in me clicked. I created a wallet, bought my first tiny share of BNB. I remember not sleeping for half the night, checking the price every five minutes. It felt like gambling. Then a crash happened. My portfolio dropped by 70%. I cursed myself, deleted the apps, and promised never to get involved with “this casino” again. But after half a year, I realized that crypto is not only speculation. I started reading about blockchain, smart contracts, and DeFi. It turned out that behind it there’s an entire philosophy—decentralization, freedom from intermediaries, and transparency. I came back, but with a cold head. I stopped chasing Xs and started studying projects, learning tokenomics. Crypto taught me patience and discipline. Now it’s not just an investment—it’s part of my life. I believe we’re on the threshold of a new financial era. The path was winding, but it’s exactly that one that led me to where I am now.

Michael Saylor: crypto will be protected not by the CLARITY Act, but by 50 million satisfied Americans After the CLARITY Act failed in the Senate on September 15, Strategy chief wrote: Over the next two years, the industry can move forward through the SEC, CFTC, the Treasury, and bank regulators. • CLARITY limited compensation for holding stablecoins and allowed the Treasury to intervene in such programs when deposits drained from smaller banks. Saylor believes these restrictions are excessive • Even the “regulatory sandbox” in the law was cut down: up to 25 employees at the company and a maximum of 20 approved projects per year. In his view, you can’t cap the scope of an experiment in advance without knowing what it will grow into • The SEC already allows trading tokenized stocks, the CFTC is ready to develop the crypto market, and banks are gradually gaining access to crypto infrastructure without a new law Saylor considers real protection not the law, but 50 million Americans who already use crypto products. Banning an unclear technology is easy, but taking away a useful service from tens of millions of people is a completely different story. $BTC {spot}(BTCUSDT) #BinanceKZ

“If you’re just sitting at home and not working,” I’m sure you know how tired I got hearing those words in my maternity leave! Praise be to God, both my education and my partner’s education are strong, and we have good diplomas.🌸 As if I were a good woman and eager to imitate my husband, I went for it saying, “Whatever the husband does—let’s do that!” and I headed off to Binance and crypto! 😅🚀 I started my path in crypto on my own—with airdrops (Airdrop). I really love taking videos and photos, writing posts, and sharing them on social media. From my very first airdrop, Binance International gave me a full 500 dollars! 😱 Then it also gifted me many more dollars! That’s how I took the money I received from airdrops and put it into circulation, fully diving into the world of crypto. Over time, I began to learn trading (spot, trading). But to be honest, when it comes to trading, my husband has more experience and knowledge than I do—so in that respect he’s strong. And as for me, I still don’t have enough patience to spend the whole day staring at charts, and I don’t have enough experience yet 😅 So I chose a path that suits me—one with less risk (менее рискованный): Big Stocks (tokenized US stocks) and Binance Earn (deposits) I think I found my way like this! 🎯 #BinanceKZ
