Crypto Pioneer Nikolai Mushegian Found Dead in Puerto Rico — Accident or Assassination?
Nikolai Mushegian, a trailblazer in the crypto space and co-founder of MakerDAO, was found dead on October 28, 2022, at Condado Beach in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Just hours before his death, the 29-year-old posted a chilling tweet alleging that intelligence agencies—specifically the CIA and Mossad—along with a “pedo elite,” were running a global sex trafficking and blackmail operation and planned to frame and kill him.
Authorities reported no signs of foul play, citing a minor head injury and emphasizing the beach’s dangerous currents, which have led to multiple drownings in the past.
While some close to Mushegian, including crypto billionaire Brock Pierce, pointed to possible mental health struggles and suggested suicide, others remain skeptical. The eerie timing of his final message has only fueled speculation and conspiracy theories across the crypto community.
