📚 HOW TO SET A STOP LOSS LIKE A PROFESSIONAL Most traders set SL wrong. Here's the right way. 👇 ❌ WRONG WAY — What most traders do: "I'll risk $50 so my SL is $50 below entry." → Random. Based on money, not structure. → Gets hit by normal price movement constantly. → You're basically donating to smart money. ✅ RIGHT WAY — What professionals do: SL goes at the point where your trade idea is INVALID. For a Long trade: → SL goes just below the liquidity sweep low → Or just below the OB you entered from → That level being broken = trade is wrong. Exit. For a Short trade: → SL goes just above the liquidity sweep high → Or just above the OB you entered from → That level being broken = trade is wrong. Exit. 📌 THE 3 RULES FOR SL PLACEMENT: Rule 1: SL must be at STRUCTURAL invalidation Rule 2: SL must be BEYOND the liquidity sweep (not inside it) Rule 3: Never move SL further away to "give it more room" 📌 THEN — calculate position size based on that SL distance. Not the other way around. Example: Entry: $2.92 (SUI) SL: $2.73 (below sweep) SL distance: $0.19 Account: $1,000 | Risk: 1% = $10 Position size: $10 ÷ $0.19 = 52.6 SUI This is professional risk management. 🎯 Save this 📌 Apply it to every trade from today.
