Prior to striking YGG, I believed that the entire Web3 was rather one-dimensional: you either had assets, you had early access, or you had skills in tech to get anything of use. Having not begun on the up-side you were in effect stranded. That was what I was thinking until I got into YGG, and, well, everything turned the other way round.

A part of YGG is SubDAOs. The deeper I excavated them the more obvious it became that each of them is a little heartbeat of a digital economy. Your chops are spotted, legit, and traced to actual employment. Prior to YGG, I believed that playing games or hanging online gigs were not serious business. The SubDAOs inverted that: skills are money. Incidentally add your ability and you will not be a mere observer anymore--you will be the director. Your talent combined with the team spirit.
The feel created individual and financial profits. The harder I worked at it the sharper I got. And there went the farther I pitched with the crew. SubDAOs were the most successful as it was shown that the most growth occurs when the game rewards skill rather than status or luck.

Tumbling into YGG vaults changed my view of giving - old-fashioned staking reminds you of placing your reasons into the well and not seeing them again. YGG vaults are other. My perception of NFTs before YGG was confined to a box, i.e., shiny tokens or brag tags. Possession of them was like a badge that had no purpose. YGG flipped that. The guild keys are the NFTs.
