Thousands of educated young people are unemployed, and many are now searching for opportunities online. That’s one reason why crypto is becoming a big conversation among youths across Africa.
At first, many people joined crypto only because of Bitcoin hype or quick profits. But with time, more people are starting to understand the bigger picture behind blockchain, AI, and Web3. Personally, I find projects like @OpenLedger interesting because they are trying to build around innovation and decentralized technology instead of only market noise.
What excites me most is how the digital world is slowly opening opportunities beyond borders. Today someone in Kampala can learn trading, content creation, community building, or blockchain skills directly from a smartphone. Of course, the crypto space still has challenges. Scammers continue to take advantage of beginners with fake promises and unrealistic profits. Africa has a very young population, and many youths are hungry for opportunities beyond traditional employment. The combination of AI and blockchain could open new doors for developers, creators, and entrepreneurs across the continent.
