It’s a feature that allows you to freeze your account for 1 to 7 days, making it impossible to withdraw funds during that window. This is specifically built for those traveling to high-risk areas or facing physical "wrench attacks" where someone might try to force a transfer under duress.

​🚫 Irreversible: Once set, the lock cannot be overridden by anyone not even Binance support or law enforcement until the timer is up (or unless you choose the flexible unlock option).
​🔐 Optional Lockdown Mode: For maximum security, enable a "Strict" mode that completely disables early unlocking.
​🛡️ Credential Backup: Even if an attacker gets your login info, they can’t move your funds if the lock is active.
