Instead of aligning with the trend by going long — or staying out if things looked too risky — a lot of traders chose to heavily short coins like $BABY , $LUNC , and $GENIUS (which is currently seeing massive volume on Binance Alpha).
👉 This mindset is risky and often misguided. Many assume that because the price is already “too high,” it can’t go any higher — so they keep shorting, often without proper risk management or stop-losses. The result? Liquidations and blown accounts.
👉 We’ve seen this before. Tokens like RAVE made explosive moves (from 0.5 to 28 USD), wiping out countless short positions along the way. In such trends, fighting the market can be extremely costly.
👉 My approach remains straightforward: follow the trend.
When indicators like RSI are pushing 80–90+, it’s a sign of strong momentum — not necessarily a signal to short. Trying to catch the top in these conditions is more gambling than trading.
