it's because hooks transform the protocol into a developer platform

there is *unlimited* customizability with how pools, swaps, fees, and LP positions interact

it’s actually really obvious why polymarket is a mainstream success

the “prediction market” has always been highly liquid (but highly inefficient)

they solved that
