We launched our Domain Drip Campaign, bringing 50-year domain ownership to the community, and represented FIO on the global stage at Token2049 Singapore. Here’s what went down this month.

🌐 Domain Drip Campaign: 50-Year Ownership Goes Live

Your FIO Domain (@yourdomain) is an NFT secured by your FIO private key; you can transfer it, customize it, or pass it down as a legacy. Last month our domain renewal fees were dramatically reduced from ~$40/yr to just ~$0.10/yr. You can secure your Web3 identity once and protect your Web3 presence for decades.

This month was all about getting this game-changing feature into the hands of the community. We launched the Domain Drip Campaign to drive awareness and adoption of 50-year domain ownership.

Here’s how it works: On our X account @joinfio, we highlight premium domains that are still available for registration. In September, we announced that the iconic @satoshi FIO Domain was unclaimed — and it was grabbed shortly after we posted about it. These premium handles don’t last long once the community discovers them.

Our Head of Growth, Wayne, and our Head of Marketing, Marie brought FIO to Token2049 Singapore — one of the world’s premier crypto conferences.

FIO connected with builders, partners, and Web3 innovators from around the globe, exploring integration opportunities and sharing FIO’s vision for seamless, human-readable Web3 identity. There were great talks, new connections, and plenty of good energy all around.
