I like to think of $XAUt and $BTC as two sides of the same idea. XAUT represents the gold of the past. Bitcoin feels like the gold of the future. One is backed by centuries of history. The other is built for a digital world. Personally, I like accumulating both over time with a simple DCA. One offers tradition, the other innovation. Which one are you more bullish on? The old gold or the new gold?
Sometimes I ask myself a simple question: Why should I buy $ATOM or $DOT today? And from a builder’s perspective, the question is even more important. Why spend time and resources integrating with smaller ecosystems when $ETH is becoming more scalable, highly secure, deeply liquid, and by far the largest developer hub in crypto? If I were building infrastructure, I’d naturally want to be where the users, liquidity, and trust already are. That doesn’t mean ATOM or DOT have no value. Both introduced important ideas and pushed the industry forward. But today, it feels harder and harder to justify choosing them over Ethereum. Let me know what you think. Do you still believe in these alternative visions?
