Paying Transaction Fees on Injective — My Take

One thing that immediately stood out when I started using @Injective is how simple the fee system is. Everything runs on INJ, which makes transactions feel clean and intuitive. No juggling extra tokens, no unexpected conversions—just straightforward INJ for every action on the network.

Paying fees in the native token also gives a sense of alignment. A portion of every fee supports Injective’s growth and security, so every trade or contract interaction feels like it contributes to the ecosystem. It’s transparent too: I can clearly see what each transaction costs, making planning much easier.

What makes it even better is how the tokenomics work. Using INJ for fees ties directly into mechanisms like the buy back and burn auction, helping reinforce long-term scarcity and value. It turns a simple fee into something that actually benefits the network.

For me, paying fees in INJ isn’t just functional—it’s part of the Injective identity. It makes the experience feel purposeful, efficient, and aligned with a broader vision.
