Demand from Bitcoin accumulator addresses is soaring and has reached a new record high for 2025
These addresses are classified as accumulators, wich means wallets that only accumulate BTC and have no history of selling, which is where the name comes from.
As of today, these addresses have collectively added around 248 000 BTC, while the monthly average remains around 164 000 BTC.
This suggests a large portion of the accumulation has taken place recently.
Despite BTC continuing to break new all-time highs, some long-term players are already positioning themselves by accumulating now.
However, if BTC enters a phase of correction or consolidation, some of these addresses could start selling.
This would cause them to lose their accumulator status and could represent significant selling pressure, especially considering these 248 000 BTC now represent about 30 billions USD.
For the time being, though, this accumulation remains a very bullish signal !
