BlackRock Hits 2 Million ETH Milestone With iShares Ethereum ETF
BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has officially crossed a major threshold, now holding over 2 million ETH — valued at more than $5.5 billion. That’s roughly 1.65% of Ethereum’s total supply concentrated in a single U.S. spot ETF.
As of July 13, ETHA’s holdings reached 2,001,081 ETH, following its strongest week of inflows yet. Over $900 million poured into the fund in just seven days, with three of its top 10 daily inflows happening during this stretch.
Zooming out, all U.S. spot ETH ETFs now manage $13.5 billion in assets, representing nearly 3.8% of Ethereum’s market cap. BlackRock leads the pack, followed by Fidelity, Bitwise, and Grayscale. Total net inflows across all ETH ETFs have surpassed $5.3 billion, highlighting growing institutional appetite.
ETHA also had a standout week on the charts — closing Friday at $22.80, up 17% from Monday’s open at $19.36. That marks its biggest weekly gain since May, breaking key resistance levels on strong volume.
The trend is clear: More ETH is flowing out of circulation and into long-term institutional hands. With BlackRock now holding such a large chunk of Ethereum's supply, market dynamics — especially liquidity — are shifting fast.
This isn’t just a short-term hype wave. The institutional phase of Ethereum is well underway — and the data backs it up.
