In a recent interview with Anthony Pompliano, the cofounder and former CEO of the Binance Exchange, CZ, answered many questions that were both interesting and important for viewers to hear.
Among those were questions about the start of Changpeng Zhao’s (CZ) career in crypto, his time as Binance CEO, his prison term and the future of the crypto space. He also answered a question about how big his wealth really is and reminded the audience that he quit his job and sold his house to get into crypto at the start of his career.

CZ talks about his wealth, but there's a catch
Pompliano (often known as just Pomp) explained his question about CZ’s wealth (“how much money do you really have?”) by saying that a lot of people wonder about that since CZ is one of the most successful entrepreneurs, and net worth is a clear and understandable measurement of success.
One of the best interviews I have done so far. This one went a bit more personal. Lots of little details. Thanks @APompliano 🙏 https://t.co/B67USoIsE1

Still, CZ did not reveal any particular numbers or figures about the size of his crypto wallets (from his earlier tweets and interviews, it is clear that he holds all his money in crypto). Instead, he said that he has enough money to start any new project he finds interesting or helpful to other people. Money is no longer a limited resource for him, CZ admitted. Now, the limited resources are time and energy to do things.

CZ’s bullish forecasts about crypto, AI and institutions
Answering a question about the future of the industry, CZ said that “right now we are extremely bullish.” He expects much wider institutional adoption of these new assets and a surge in the number of crypto ETFs and crypto treasury companies (which will stack not only Bitcoin but also Ethereum and other large coins).
Besides, he expects traditional equity markets to come into crypto in a big way. He also predicted the intersection between AI and crypto to get much bigger than it is now. A lot of governments will start adopting blockchain for practical solutions, such as decentralized electronic IDs, rental rights, healthcare benefits, wealth redistribution, taxes, etc. In short, blockchain will spread far beyond just trading and finance.
CZ added that as early as nine months ago, he would not have given such a prediction, but this space is evolving at a fast pace.
