When I first got into crypto, I thought Aave was just another platform for lending and borrowing.
The more I learned, the more I realized it was much bigger than that
.
Aave was built to remove the need for traditional financial intermediaries, allowing anyone to lend, borrow, and earn yield directly through smart contracts.
To me, that's what DeFi is really about—not creating new financial products, but making financial services more open, transparent, and accessible to everyone.
At the time of writing, AAVE is trading at around $92 USD. Prices will always change, but I believe understanding the problem a project solves is more valuable than focusing only on its daily price movements.
What do you think? Will protocols like Aave become a core part of the future financial system?
