Binance Wallet (Web) is the web-based version of the Binance Wallet, designed for users to perform on-chain trading on a desktop-compatible version. It uses a new signing method called Secure Auto Sign (“SAS”) to deliver high-speed trading experience, helping users quickly analyze, buy, and sell on-chain assets.

How to use the Binance Wallet (Web): A step-by-step guide

6. If you wish to disable Secure Auto Sign, go to [Settings] and look for the Secure Auto Sign feature to turn it off. Alternatively, you may wait for the authorization to expire.

What is Secure Auto Sign (SAS)?

Secure Auto Sign enables fast and convenient transaction signing, allowing you to place and manage orders more efficiently without having to use the mobile app for each transaction.

It operates within a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE): a secure and isolated hardware environment operated by a third-party cloud provider, ensuring private keys remain protected while users retain full self-custody. This gives you the flexibility to automate trading actions securely, without sacrificing control or security.

Key characteristics include:

  • Convenient and fast signing: You can authorize transactions quickly and seamlessly, improving the trading experience without compromising control over private keys.
  • Secure Isolation: Signing occurs in a TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) ensures that only wallet owners can delegate signing rights. No one (including Binance or the hardware provider) can access private keys or execute unauthorized actions.
  • Verifiable Self-custody: The system supports third-party verification to prove that private key isolation and transaction delegation remain intact, preserving your self-custody at all times.
How does Secure Auto Sign (SAS) authorization and session expiry work?

To perform a transaction, you need to enable Secure Auto Sign (SAS) by authorizing it the first time you use the feature. Each SAS session is backed by a secure authorization that expires based on user activity.

  • The initial Secure Auto Sign (SAS) authorization is valid for 7 days.
    • Each time a new Order is placed, the 7-day period resets automatically.
  • If the session expires, re-authorization can be done during the next order or manually via [Settings] - [Secure Auto Sign].
  • If there’s no qualifying activity for 7 days, the session will expire. Secure Auto Sign can be reauthorized at any time when placing or managing new Orders.
Can I buy crypto assets on Binance Wallet (Web)?

Binance Wallet (Web) currently supports asset trading and analysis on the BNB Chain and Solana networks. With a Binance Wallet, you can trade any assets issued on these two blockchains directly through Binance Wallet (Web).

However, please be reminded that on-chain trading is riskier than CEX trading. Please read the Binance Wallet Terms of Use carefully before trading.

What blockchains do Binance Wallet (Web) support?

To provide the best possible data and trading experience, Binance Wallet (Web) currently supports the following blockchains:

  • BNB Chain
  • Solana
What are the fees for using Binance Wallet (Web)?

After enabling the Secure Auto Sign service, all your transaction operations on Binance Wallet (Web) will incur the following three types of fees:

  • Service fee: The fee rate is 0.5% per transaction. This fee is charged by Binance.
  • Transaction priority fee: You may customize the amount of this fee. It is paid to the blockchain nodes that broadcast your transaction on the blockchain. This fee is a blockchain fee, and therefore not charged by Binance.
  • Transaction confirmation gas fee: You can set this fee yourself or select from different gas fee rates estimated by Binance based on current network congestion. This fee is paid to the blockchain nodes that confirm and package your transaction onto the chain. This is also a blockchain fee and therefore not charged by Binance.
What is Security Audit and how do I use it?

Binance Wallet (Web) is an on-chain trading product launched by Binance, and like other Binance products, it has comprehensive security audits and risk control mechanisms. However, the risks of on-chain trading and the permissionless issuance of tokens mean that no institution or individual can guarantee to help users of the product avoid any security risks.

Therefore, carefully identifying the security of tokens and controlling risks are essential skills for on-chain traders. Binance Wallet (Web) interface also provides token security audits in multiple dimensions to help users avoid most security risks.

The specific functions are as follows:

1. When viewing token details, the security risk audit report for the token will be displayed in the upper right corner of the candlestick chart.

2. You may click on it to see a detailed risk audit report, with content aggregated from multiple security risk audit providers.

3. You may also scroll to the bottom to view the risk summary report.

Please note: Security audits can only cover most risk scenarios and cannot guarantee 100% that there are no risks, especially for new tokens with small trading volumes and market capitalizations. Users should do their own research and be cautious when trading these tokens.
