Last night, a rumor about 'CZ missing while kitesurfing in Dubai' went viral. It had all the details, mentioning 'rip currents', 'search and rescue', 'missing'... But guess what? CZ himself jumped on Twitter to debunk it: Kitesurfers don’t worry about the current. I always have a boat following me while I’m out there. He even shared a pic from a few weeks back when he was kitesurfing. He's doing just fine, so quit spreading nonsense. I get it, the crypto scene has a lot of hype, and there are plenty of folks riding the wave. But using someone’s safety to generate clicks is just too far; don’t believe the hype, don’t spread rumors, wait for the official word.
Hope CZ is all good, and I wish everyone a bit more kindness.
