Why I’m not worried about Alphabet’s drop (and what I’m watching instead)
Alphabet ($GOOGLB L) is down hard, and my timeline is full of people calling it broken. I don’t see it that way. If you plan to hold for years, this looks more like an opening than a warning. Start with the monthly chart. Alphabet ran from about $141 to a high near $407, one of the strongest moves in Big Tech. A pullback after a run like that is normal. Price has now come back to roughly $279, almost exactly the 50% retracement of the whole move at $274. That’s the line between “premium” and “discount” territory, and it’s the area where long-term buyers have historically started paying attention. If selling continues, the next level to watch is the 61.8% retracement near $243. There’s also a bullish fair value gap sitting in that zone, an area where price moved up so fast it left little trading behind. Price often returns to fill gaps like that before continuing higher. I’m not saying it will go there. I’m saying that’s where I’d expect buyers to show up if it does. Some traders think big institutions push price down on purpose to build positions at better prices before the next leg up. I can’t prove that, and nobody outside those desks can. What I can say is that sharp drops on bad headlines are when large buyers tend to get the best entries, and when retail tends to sell. The headlines aren’t pretty. Earnings missed on profit, Search growth slowed, and free cash flow went negative because of heavy AI spending. But Cloud revenue more than doubled, and the spending is building capacity the company expects to use for years. A business that still grew revenue 25% is not a broken business. I’d rather buy something good while people are scared than chase it after the recovery. If you’re investing for five or ten years, the daily noise matters a lot less than the price you pay. Scaling in across the 50% to 61.8% zone beats betting everything at one level. None of this is a guarantee. Fibonacci levels are guides, not floors, and price can slice through them. The AI spending bet could take longer to pay off than investors will tolerate. Size your position so a further drop doesn’t force you to sell. $GOOGLB #LongTermGain #Googlestock #TrendingTopic
Alphabet just lost $500B in a day. Here’s what actually happened
Alphabet ($GOOGL) just had one of its ugliest days ever. More than $500 billion in market cap gone, and the big indexes went down with it. The earnings were the trigger. Revenue grew 25% to $127.6 billion, which is strong, but EPS missed consensus by a lot. A miss like that on the bottom line usually means institutions sell now and read the call later. Search is what people are actually nervous about. Growth in core Search came in slower than expected, and the fear is that AI answers are cannibalizing ad revenue. Search also dropped below 50% of total revenue for the first time. Cloud growing fast explains some of that, but the market read it as lost ground anyway. Then there’s the spending. Capex was $51.4 billion in Q3 alone, mostly AI infrastructure and Google’s own TPUs, and free cash flow went to -$9.1 billion. Investors will put up with a lot of AI spending, just not forever without margins to show for it. There is a bright spot. Cloud revenue more than doubled to $30.7 billion, so businesses clearly want AI. Some analysts think being less dependent on search ads is healthy anyway. Others aren’t convinced. We often refuse to acknowledge the dual reality of trading: every decision carries the potential for total success or total failure. We see the '100x' moonshots and invest our savings expecting an overnight fortune, convinced our analysis and indicators make us invincible. But the market doesn't care about your data. Ask yourself: if this trade fails, are you prepared to lose everything and walk away from the market entirely? We can turn a blind eye to risk, but we cannot ignore the consequences. My previous post talked about, posting another long setup on $XAU . After price making impulsive moves, it created gaps and Fair Value gaps which I am expecting price to come and fill before pushing to the upside. There is also an overlapping Inverse Fair Value Gap adding up us another confluence to go to the upside. Expecting gold to get to $5K this week. #BuyTheDip #XAUUSD🚀
Update on $XAU longs🎉 Take a look at my previous post yesterday, where I shared a long setup for $XAU . Price is almost at final TP (1:3). There could be a possible retracement into the gap created and continue printing to the upside. We could be going back to $5K. Will be posting a trade idea soon. Follow, like and share for ideas. #XAUUSD❤️ #buylong
Last week, Thursday's candle mitigated and rejected the Daily Fair Value Gap. Price broke through Bearish Fair Value Gap on the 1-hour time frame and has inversed it. This also happens to be in the Discount zone serving as an extra confluence for $XAU to buy. $XAU
Price inversed the Monthly Bearish Fair Value Gap and made some retracements and is trying to make a bullish expansion. I expect price to clear the ERL above and possible retracement into the Monthly Bearish Fair Value Gap above. With the Dollar index citing this, I expect $USDC to be bullish.

This week, I am bullish for GOLD. Price may drop to the FVG below or continue to push higher from the Inverse Fair Value Gap it is currently present at. $XAU
Last week price rejected of an Order Block on the Weekly timeframe. I am expecting price to climb this week to $80K to 85K and react off the Weekly Fair Value Gap above to get back to around $65K to 60K.$BTC
